This winter has been a money taxing time, with either the prospect of buying all the presents you can for your loved ones or dealing with the record breaking crippling temperatures.
The temperatures that have been unheard of in Britain have been causing havoc with individual, forcing them to make over 700 million pounds worth of claims whether it was through the fault of ice on a road resulting in a motor claim or a house suffering from the extreme conditions resulting in burst water pipes or structural damage in extreme cases.
The insurance world have promised to try and keep the cost of insurance down as when so many claims are normally made the rates shoot through the roof.

Personally I have handled lots of the queries one in particular in which a young lady who had fallen over on ice and broken her pelvis, stopping her from working in the first month and a half of this year. She managed to get a basic sick pay from her place of work but this did not cover her bills and outstanding debts, including Christmas.
We tackled the problem by consolidating all her monthly payments into one payment that is spread over a longer period, but will give her chance to get back on her feet and manage her money until the debt is clear.
